Expert Analysis
Robbie Hodin | Prep Hoops Scout
Chaudhri settled into the game by the time the second half came around and started to get things going offensively. He showed off some nice floaters in the lane and also had a beautiful spin move that finished with a silky lefty finish off the glass. For someone 6-foot-8 and athletic, he’s getting more and more skilled with the ball in his hands. Defensively, Chaudhri can guard larger players and protect the rim because of his size, athleticism and jumping ability. The George Washington University is a freak athlete and should continue to improve as the years go on.

Chaudhri was pretty handily the best player on the court Friday. The 6-foot-8 senior wing is a freak athlete, which I noticed first at the NEPSAC Showcase this summer. However, he seemed out of control at times there and didn’t show a consistent outside shot. Against Cheshire, though, he seemed more controlled with his handle and body and also shot it very well from three. He still has room to shore up his creation game, but his size and athleticism are enough to make waves on the court. He’ll be playing at George Washington next year and still has so much more room to grow.

Chaudhri put an end to his recruitment when he announced that he will be attending George Washington University. The Riverside Church wing spent the summer proving how versatile he was on both ends of the floor. He’s a three level scorer that is a good athlete with some wiggle off the bounce. He can really knock down shots from behind the arc, and has proven capable of being a scorer either on or off the ball. He’s continued to add new dimensions to his offensive game over the past few months and should only continue to improve with the assistance of a Division I strength and conditioning program. Defensively, he uses his length and quickness to be a disruptive on-ball defender that’s also capable of providing rim protection from the weak side. Chaudhri is a quality recruit in the Atlantic 10 and should be able to carve out a role relatively quickly at George Washington.

Chaudhri recently commited to George Washington University. Chaudhri is a lengthy wing with a remarkable blend of athleticism and skill, making him a standout on both ends of the court. His smooth shooting stroke allows him to consistently score from the perimeter, while his slashing ability enables him to penetrate defenses effectively. With his combination of height, agility, and finesse, he poses a significant challenge for opponents.

Chaudhri is a truly remarkable athlete. The way he glides down the court and elevates for finishes is special and he has the sort of physical profile that is turning the heads of high-major D1 coaches. Chaudhri is a good ball handler and shooter, but he’s generally pretty raw offensively. Once he gets a better feel for the game — when to shoot, when to pass, how to quickly and effectively attack closeouts, how to slow down in the pick and roll — he could be a blue-chip prospect at the next level. The 6-foot-8 wing hasn’t committed anywhere yet, and that’s probably smart, because he’ll likely have a big growth year.

Chaudhri is raw but probably has more potential than anyone on the court during this contest. He’s a menace in transition and has incredible physical attributes. Had some excellent takes to the rim and can really defend when he wants to. Big improvements coming for Chaudhri if I had to guess.

is a bouncy wing who blends athleticism and skill to be productive. With a quick first step, he has a great burst and can get downhill and attack the basket for layups and easy scoring. Chaudhri can get up in transition, slamming home dunks with his special athletic gifts. He can space the floor from three, knocking down jump shots in the corners and opening the court for himself and his teammates. Chaudhri also isn’t afraid of taking tough deep pull-ups and his confidence in taking them whenever is very unabashed. Defensively, he can guard on the perimeter and act as a weak side rim protector. Programs and coaches will want Chaudhri heavily for his transition rim scoring, half-court shooting, and wing-defender build.

He’s shown that he can score at all three levels and has been really productive this season from behind the arc.
