Shakopee’s basketball program is filled with depth, and Tyler is a part of that group of players looking to take the next step into a big role on varsity this winter. He has solid size on the wing which is much needed for a guard-heavy team. Boegeman plays with composure and had a very productive game against a tough Orono team. Doing a little bit of everything, Ty got the the rim with backdoor cuts as well as off the dribble, was handling the ball in transition, dishing out nice passes out of pick & rolls, and blocked a shot early in the first half. He also showcased a smooth stroke from beyond the arc. Put in an impressive performance that helped a shorthanded Shakopee team go down to the wire with one of the best teams in Class AAA.
