McNeely is a hard nosed prospect, who is one of the best at “staring in his role” in Oklahoma. With long arms and tenacity, he plays bigger than his size around the basket. Even willing to take charges (how often do you see that in highlight videos?). An important development to his game has been improving shooting in the mid-range and from three. Which also allows him to attack mistmatches when taller players step out to cover him. Even in highlight tapes, it’s clear that McNeely is a prospect who does the little things to add up to a big impact.
