Finding different ways to remain productive in the minutes he was provided, Sam Phillips Sam Phillips 6'8" | PF Peddie School | 2028 State NJ earned extended minutes on the floor through his versatility and ability to make a number of winning plays. Phillips’ versatility is where he impressed the most, demonstrating hints of a unique inside out offensive skillset that could translate to a larger role as the winter approaches— offering valuable floor spacing as a perimeter shooter at his position at a rather respectable clip coupled with efficient finishing around the basket both in designed actions and within the flow of the game.

Phillips was one of the true bigs at the Expo and he made his impact felt throughout the day. The 6’7 forward used his strong frame to get position in the paint and has a nice touch around the rim. Phillips also put the ball on the floor and showed that his range extended out to the three-point line. He fought for rebounds on both ends of the floor and used his length to bother shots around the rim. Phillips grew his game during the Expo and should continue to grow during the season.
