His best attribute that he brings to the table right now is his defensive instincts. Diaby has long arms and uses his length to his advantage by getting vertical and impacting drives. He swats the ball effectively with good timing and therefore, racks up block numbers. Diaby’s athleticism translates outside the paint as well as he has upside defending on the ball. On the offensive end, he is at his best attacking the paint and finishing the ball with that length of his. Diaby has some nice post moves that he brings out occasionally, with still some more room to grow. He has the right mix of tools and talent, which could make him a very sought-after prospect with further development.
