New Ranking: 90
Previous Ranking: Unranked
Horton is on the small side of things on the basketball floor, but his quickness, court savvy and skill more than make up for his lack of height. Horton had an outstanding season for Brookfield East, averaging 14.8 points and 3.5 rebounds to help the Spartans to a share of the Greater Metro Conference title. He picked up second-team all-league honors as opponents had a hard time dealing with his quickness, aggressiveness and skill.

Horton’s quickness presented some real problems for the Wauwatosa West defense as the speedy combo guard repeatedly got to the basket. He finished well against bigger defenders with his ability to use the rim as protection from shot blockers. He also swished three big three-point shots for the Spartans on the way to netting a team-best 27 points. Horton is one of the more improved players in the Greater Metro and his strong play this winter is a big reason why the Spartans are in first place in the league standings.

The skilled and shifty point guard from Brookfield East was dominating at times for Young Men of Milwaukee Diamonds In The Rough in their victory over Iowa Prep Nelson. He seemed to suffer a minor injury in the second half and sat out down the stretch, but he had more than made his presence felt prior to the minor injury. He scored 13 points and had baskets on the fast break, in the half court, from three-point range and on floaters in the lane. He played significant minutes as a junior at Brookfield East and could again be a key component for a Spartans squad looking to contend for the Greater Metro Conference crown.

Tallied double digits in the first half of the last game of the weekend. Works well in transition either pitching it ahead for easy primary break points or fighting through traffic keeping a controlled dribble to the cup. Confident in his scoring abilities on all 3 levels. Made a pull up into a 3 on the dribble, a jump shot off 2 dribbles from the elbow, another mid range shot drawing contact for an And 1, and a nice smooth take to the rim to finish over longer length.
