One of the better pure floor generals of the weekend, Patterson’s quickness and vision were both on display throughout camp. He got to the rim with ease and showcased good finishing despite his slender frame. Now at Springfield Commonwealth (MA), Patterson will have two years to develop further in a college like setting.

Patterson was one of the most ferocious competitors I saw all weekend, bringing relentless energy and intensity on both ends of the floor. He applied outstanding ball pressure, consistently speeding up opposing guards and forcing them into difficult decisions. Defensively, he was a true ballhawk, using his quick hands and instincts to generate steals and immediately turn those takeaways into transition offense. On the offensive end, Patterson attacked under control, doing a nice job playing off two feet and finishing through contact or making the right read. His aggressive style also earned him frequent trips to the foul line, where he converted at an efficient rate. Patterson’s toughness, defensive intensity, and ability to impact the game in multiple ways make him a player who consistently sets the tone for his team.

An extremely crafty player. He can create for himself or other teammates. Really nice skillset and high basketball IQ. Uses an assortment of finishes inside with flair and creativity. Has shown an assortment of floaters in the lane.

He’s quick with the ball and uses his speed to get downhill with ease. His floater is a reliable weapon in the lane, and he’s a blur in transition showcasing his natural feel for the game and sharp court vision.
