Magruder finished the season with a loss in the 3A state title game to a surging South River group, but nevertheless, the Colonels put together a 24-3 showing and Wilson emerged as one of the underclassmen to carve out a valuable role in the backcourt. His ability to pick-and-choose his spots within the flow to attack driving lanes, make the extra pass to shooters spotting up in the corner or advancing the ball ahead in transition for scores all led me to believe that Magruder has another point guard in the stable to continue their success for years to come.
