I thought Sherrard struggled a bit during the Summer League shooting the basketball. He knocked the rust off during Section 7, coming up with several big three point shots in route to Mojave’s run to the bracket Championship game.

Sherrard made my list of top snipers in the state last year. He backed it up during the workout. He was on point, getting into a grove during the 5 on 5 portion of the workout. Sherrard made back to back to back threes over a two game stretch.

Like most shooters, Sherrard is supremely confident despite saying very little. He did it with his actions on this night. The junior sniper was huge in the second half, knocking down multiple corner threes to help the Rattlers stretch the lead. Sherrard’s ability to space the floor is a vital element, opening up driving lanes for Mojave’s shooters.

Sherrad did not participate in the workout, but it’s easy to know what role he’s going to play. Sherrard is one of the best shooters in the state, and will easily make my top snipers list. He’s the perfect piece for a team filled with slashers, as his shooting should open the floor for the squad.
