Myles has been one of my favorite guard prospects in this class over the last couple of years and multiple colleges seem to agree. Already earning multiple D1 offers, Howard has shown the ability to score and defend at a high level. Myles has a well rounded skill set and usually plays really hard. If Myles and Boogie Cook Boogie Cook 6'7" | SF Christian Academy of Louisville | 2028 State #94 Nation KY both play at a high level this season, CAL could be in the mix to win the loaded 7th region.

Another big weekend for Howard who has continually improved his game over the past year. What I was maybe most impressed with Howard was his rebounding ability from the wing, Howard had multiple rebounds in traffic that he had no business coming down with in each game I watched of his team. Howard also blocked a handful of shots, showing his ability to contest at both the rim and on the perimeter. Howard’s highlight play of the game came in transition where he rose up for a monster slam dunk. Stock rising prospect for Kentucky Basketball Club!

Howard had a stock rising weekend as his passing ability was on full display this weekend. The ball didn’t stick to Howard’s hands and as a team, Christian Academy of Louisville had excellent ball movement to generate open looks. Howard had a couple buckets off the catch as well on the perimeter and used his strong frame to seal off defenders on drives. I thought Howard really helped himself this weekend and has been hearing from some local Division I programs after the weekend.

Myles has had one of the highest IQs of any guard in the state regardless of class for the past few years and his body has begun to match his skillset. He has legit size at his position in addition to a level athleticism that’s already matured beyond the “developing” stage. His ability to throw down poster dunks is a proven skill that will only improve over the next few years. He’s coming off a breakout sophomore campaign with CAL but with significant losses to graduation, Myles is primed for a statement year. He’s the #13 PG in the nation per 247Sports and you can expect his collegiate recruitment to kick off in the public eye sooner than later.

Howard impressed me as a utility wing who rebounded the basketball at a high level. Howard has solid length and a sturdy frame, able to handle physicality at both ends of the court. That strength allowed him to finish an and-1 layup and he also used pivots well to create space to score in the paint. An inconsistent perimeter shooter, Howard knocked down an early above the break 3-pointer but that was the only made 3-pointer of the five he attempted on Tuesday night. This Christian Academy of Louisville squad has a lot of young talent and it will be exciting to watch them grow.

I look for Myles to have a breakout season for the Centurions as long as he is able to get enough touches to make an impact on the offensive end. CAL is guard heavy and Senior Jayden Washington Jayden Washington 6'2" | PG Christian Academy of Louisville | 2026 State KY will have the ball in his hands quite a bit during the season. Howard is an athletic guard who has a bright future on the court and likely is a scholarship level prospect down the line.

Myles is a role player for CAL but I love his long term potential. An excellent finisher, Howard plays hard and is active on both ends of the court. Likely the least heralded of CAL’s freshmen, Myles has the potential to end up as one of the best 2028 guards in Louisville.

Howard was one of my favorite players on Saturday. He displayed a ton of potential with his finishing at the rim, through traffic and with both hands. Myles knocked down open shots and looks like he could be a top player in the class, long term.
