About Mekiyas

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My Playstyle is usually and what any of my coaches decide but if I got to play freely, I have a very “shifty shooter guard” playing style. Everyone I know says I play like Darius Garland.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My coach says i am very cocky but i can back it up. I would describe my personality or mentality just locked in ready to kill

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I do Taekwondo which is my main sport. I am a junior olympian and i represent Ethiopia 🇪🇹, I have won many awards like 7 Adidas circuit championships 5 west regional championships and 2 national championships. I have won 3 Math awards for my district.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a great leader and always hold myself accountable

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I get some backlash from peers and locals. I just cut out the noise

What type of college are you looking for?

A D1 college that has a coach who understands like my high school
