Maturah is as solid as they come. In a summer league where many players are trying to do things outside of their skillset, the rising sophomore is content to make the right play again and again, never trying to do too much. He’s only 6-foot, but he’s very long and uses his athleticism to guard a variety of players defensively; he’s strong enough to guard bigs and quick enough to guard guards. Offensively, he has no weakness and is able to do everything on the court, which makes him an awesome plug and play guy. I’ll be curious to see whether Maturah can crack the rotation at Brooks this season.
