The raw tools and motor make him an intriguing throwback forward prospect that can block shots, run the floor, rebound, and finish plays above the rim. Excited to see him in action.

In terms of pure intrigue, Rice who arrived in the state last month. Might’ve been the most enticing long-term prospect on display in the MISL conference as well as the DMV area for the next 2 years. He’s already an extremely long, fluid athlete with great size and useful instincts on both ends of the floor. Rice displays touch and power as an interior finisher. He blocks/alters shots at a quality rate and runs the floor well in transition. Rice capitalizes on his opportunities within the flow of the action but truly doesn’t require touches to make an impact. Given his overall appeal, it’ll be interesting to follow him over the next calendar year.

-Rice probably has the highest chance of making steady leaps up our player rankings after debuting at Southern MD Christian Academy. A raw athlete that is surviving off instinct for the time being, Rice is able to cover a lot of ground with his quickness and measurables to serve as a formidable shot-blocker and rebounder for a swarming SMCA team. Rice is a consistent go-to scoring move or two away from being a consistent double double threat that plays his role within the flow of the offense to put pressure on the back line of the defense.
