After missing the beginning of the year, Malique Johnson Malique Johnson 6'0" | PG Tri-Cities | 2024 State GA made a statement in his return at the TOC. After going for 26 points on day one, Johnson scored a game-high 17 against Wheeler and gave Tri-Cities a fighting chance at the end. Johnson brings elite level speed and athleticism, fairly underzised but certainly above the rim. He’s able to break down defenders with dribble combos and a twitchy first step, some impressive passing vision too once he gets into the teeth of the defense. If it weren’t for the nagging injuries over the past year, Johnson’s recruitment would look a lot different. Nonetheless, he’ll be a great pickup for whoever lands him.
