With a star-studded lineup at Tri-Cities, John may go under the radar but he is an important enforcer that can score around the rim and control the paint. Morris bangs inside and is blossoming as an offensive threat, showcasing the ability to shoot the outside jumper and sneakily take his defender off the dribble if the matchup is advantageous. John will play a big role this season as an interior defender, helping keep his other teammates out of foul trouble.

He’s effective as a screener in the pick and roll and can carve out space inside if he doesn’t get it on the initial role. The lefty big man still has lots of room to develop but his size and power are unteachable. Morris should step into a much larger role next year at Tri-Cities where he’ll be surrounded by some serious talent.
