Alexander, a forward out of Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire, wrapped his recruitment when he announced that he’ll attend Princeton University. A 6’9″ lefty, Alexander fits the bill of a modern, floor-spacing big man with his ability to make reads off the bounce and to consistently knock down shots from behind the arc. He’s got a quick release on his jumper, can finish above the rim in traffic, and has a frame that should continue to get stronger at the next level. He’s an instinctive defender that competes on the glass and offers some rim protection off the ball. He should fit like a glove at Princeton and has the chance to have a really nice four-year career in the Ivy League.

Alexander, a post-graduate at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire, makes his first appearance in the rankings after announcing that he’ll head to the northeast from California. The 6’8″ lefty is noticably bigger and stronger than he was last summer and should make a major impact in Class A this winter. He can handle the ball in transition. stretches a defense with his ability to knock down shots, and does a nice job of moving without the basketball to score around the rim. Defensively, he shows good instincts in rotation, the ability to initiate the break with outlet passes, and reads the ball well off the rim on the glass.
