Levi is a top 15 senior in the entire state and will be taking his talents to Central Washington next year. Pepper stretches the floor really well, being able to hit the three very consistently. He gets to the rim nicely off the dribble too. In a tough 71-72 loss to Mark Morris late in December, Pepper dropped 36 points and grabbed a huge 18 rebounds on the night. He has a bright future at Central Washington.

He is a getting 14 points a contest in his first three. He pulled down a rebound total of 21 in one of those games. There might be entire teams who don’t get that many rebounds in a game this season. This is a remarkable stat but one he is likely to better at some point during the season. He is a beast on the boards. Then again, if you happen to have the last name Pepper, it’s just another day at the office. Noah Pepper grabbed over a thousand rebounds in his high school career at Selah which is one of the most remarkable stats I have ever seen. I expect his scoring to be much higher in games to come. He is an elite-level scorer in the 2A ranks. He gets to the basket and plays well on the open floor. He can get you with the mid-game and will shoot it from deep. He is best at getting to the rim and does so as well as anyone I have seen in 2A. Levi will join his brother and play at Central WA University next season. In the meantime, watch out for Selah, they are a dangerous team with the Pepper combo leading the way.

No worries, I know what some might be thinking. That’s why I have a, wild card. As for this kid, he’s about to blow up opposing teams with his scoring abilities. He finds ways to get to the bucket as well as anyone in 2A. He is strong and has good hops, both of which help him to finish with a purpose. I really like his ability to shoot off the dribble. He will do that from 25 feet and in. I might be selling him short. He rebounds. He rebounds. I felt like that needed to be said twice. He will have a 30 plus points, 20 rebound game this year. Mark my words.

The 6’6 wing is a superb talent and if he can lead Selah back to the 2A State Tournament he might get some consideration for 2A Player of the Year. Pepper has the size and skill to bring down a board and weave up the court through defenders all the way to the hoop. His pace looks easy, but he covers ground quickly and always looks to attack defenses before they get set. He can shoot the three with easy range and is Selah’s top playmaker.

Here’s my quick break down of what he can do. He’s 6’6 and excels at getting to the bucket. He can really cover some space using his great spin moves and drives. He is a great finisher, and capable of highlight reel dunks. He shoots off the dribble extremely well, and he is a good three point shooter. He rebounds, and can play with his back to the basket if he needs to but he’s really solid at breaking down the defense and scoring. He’ll put up video game numbers for Selah this season and could carry them to Yakima. He’s that good.

He’s got good size at 6’6, can play the two or three. He is a great scorer, and gets buckets in a variety of ways. He’s great at getting to the hoop, and has the strength to to take contact and finish. He will turn into a great three point shooter, he’s already a good one. He’s a natural shooting off the dribble. He is a monster on the boards, and can play with his back to the basket if being guarded by a smaller player. I’d sign him, start him at the three and turn him loose.

Pepper often is the one bringing the ball down for his Selah squad and he likes to push the ball and head for the hoop. This aggression, along with his speed and strength, tends to make defenders drop back and leave room around the arc. That’s why Pepper has such success shooting the three in transition. Great recognition and superior driving ability open up a lot of looks for him outside and Pepper has the sweet stroke to capitalize.

He has everything I want for my teams. The reigning CWAC MVP, he’s versatile, skilled, and plays hard. He’s one of the more skilled players in the state at his size. He has a great understanding of how to score the basketball. He can shoot from all over the court, but I think he’s at his best when he’s creating on the fly. He handles the ball well enough to highlight his other skills, like getting to the hole, or pulling up and taking the fifteen footer off the dribble. I love his ability to score off the bounce. He’s also a monster on the boards and will give the West all they can handle as a small forward type who can also play any position. He’s a competitor.

Here’s another talented stretch 3 type that can score it in bunches. He’s got great footwork, and he uses it to score in the paint with a variety of moves. He will also let it fly from three and has the ability to shoot over the defense off the dribble. Something he does well. A good rebounder who will grab and go. He can play any position on the floor. Versatile and skilled.
