Wilkins controlled tempo effectively and consistently created offense for both himself and teammates throughout the session. He led Drive Nation in scoring and assists while pushing pace aggressively in transition and collapsing defenses off penetration. Wilkins also competed defensively with active hands and strong pressure at the point of attack. His willingness to attack gaps while maintaining composure as a facilitator helped stabilize possessions throughout the day. The pace and confidence he played with stood out immediately.
✅ Uptempo lead guard play
✅ Paint-touch creation
✅ Competitive perimeter defense

was clearly a top 5 player in the class of 2029 here in Nevada this past season. He has superb handles and gets to the rack at will. Although it looked as though he might head to Coronado, he announced that he would instead be going to Dynamic Prep in Texas. The National Champions this spring got a good one. Expect to continue to see his name in headlines the next 4 years.

in an article on 2029 guards earlier this month. He is very shifty and knows how to get downhill before his defender can react. Wilkin’s also showed off his long ball this weekend, and hit a good amount of shots from the outside. On the defensive end, I liked how he was competing. Although he was playing up in the 16U division, he held his own.
It also looks like he will be heading to Coronado for high school, as he has been playing with them at the Border League Summer League.

currently suits up for Vegas Elite Jr. EYBL team. He can run the show for them, or play off ball. If he is looking to get to get the cup, he usually does and I’ve also noticed that he lives at the free throw line. If he’s playing off ball he finds open space and drains catch and shoot 3-pointers consistently. On defense, he displays great effort and he can push transition after coming up with a steal. Wilkins is sure to turn heads the rest of the AAU season, as he averaged over 17 PPG at the first EYBL session.
