Expert Analysis
Will Armishaw | Prep Hoops Scout
Walker, a big lefty guard with a versatile skillset, came off the board with a commitment to the University of North Alabama. A long and athletic prospect, Walker shines with the ball in his hands. He has great body control, is shifty off the bounce, and utilizes an array of jab stabs and dribble moves to create space on his way to the basket. He’s a quick jumper that doesn’t shy away from contact at the rim and really impressed as a cutter off the ball. Defensively, his length allows him to guard multiple positions and at just 6’5″, he’s a quality shot blocker with good timing and instincts from the help side. As a prospect, he oozes potential and should only continue to improve with added strength and repetitions. The Atlantic Sun is a quality mid-major league, but I’d still expect Walker to eventually develop into one of the better athletes and perimeter defenders in the league at North Alabama.
