The event featured teams from all over the east coast and was chock full of talent for all levels, with college coaches from all over in attendance.
Here’s a look at part two of some of the many standouts from the New England teams in attendance.
Oscar Edelman Oscar Edelman 6'8" | PF New Hampton | 2024 State NLG | 6’9” C | Mass Rivals HGSL 17U
Edelman continues to be one of the top players on the HGSL Circuit, as the 6’9” big man was one of the most consistent performers over the first two live periods. The New Hampton big man showed his versatility as he shot the ball very consistently from deep, initiated the offense from the top of the key and made good decisions passing out of the post and he showed the touch around the rim with both hands. He may not be the most athletic player but he’s a skilled big who can score from multiple levels and makes others on his team better.
Anthony Troncellito Anthony Troncellito 6'1" | CG Bradford Christian | 2024 State NLG | 6’1” PG | Mass Rivals HGSL 17U
Troncellito is another Rivals guy who followed up an impressive first live period with another good one, as he showed his poise and all-around playmaking ability leading the team. The 6’1” lead guard from Bradford Christian played with good pace and made great decisions in the pick-and-roll, he made shots from multiple levels off the bounce and he set the tone defensively. He’s the type of player who doesn’t make many mistakes and is skilled as a scorer and a distributor.
Kyle Benjamin | 6’3” WG | Mass Rivals HGSL 17U ’25
Benjamin comes off as very intriguing as the 6’3” wing is playing up with the 17U team and doesn’t look like he’s out of place at all, in fact he’s one of their better and more productive players. He has long arms that he uses to get deflections and rebound, he attacks in transition and is a good finisher and he can drill shots from deep when he’s left open. He plays with a competitive chip and he isn’t afraid to do the dirty work either.
Kingston Walker Kingston Walker 6'5" | SG Loomis Chaffee | 2024 State NLG | 6’4” CG | Team New England 17U
Walker is perhaps the most followed prospect in the HGSL, as coaches were clamoring about his ability to make plays on the ball at his size and his upside moving forward. He is smooth off the bounce as he touches the paint effortlessly and makes good decisions, he’s a very good finisher in the midrange and at the rim and his size at his position makes him a tough matchup. He has some polishing to do moving forward but he has a lot of tools that translate well to the next level.
Fallou Guye | 6’7” F | Team New England 17U
Guye joined this already stacked TNE team, and he gave them yet another element as an athletic hybrid forward who can impact the game across the board. The native of Senegal and New Hampton forward is a menace in transition with his athletic finishing ability, he can play and guard multiple positions and he makes plays others can’t with his size and athleticism. He’s a huge upside guy moving forward with tools that many players just don’t have.
