Today, we'll continue our rankings coverage with a look at some notable Newcomers in New England.

In all, 102 prospects are making their first appearance in our 2027 rankings; including, the highest ranked Newcomer, Masters Academy International's [player_tooltip player_id='1962882' first='Mekhi' last='Robertson'].

We highlight Robertson in our Top 10 article, but it's worth noting that he's a fringe Top 100 recruit national with offers on the table from the likes of Arizona State, NC State, Oklahoma State, and West Virginia.

Below are five prospects of note that made their debut in our latest rankings update for the Class of 2027:

Johnson, a post-graduate at Worcester Academy in Massachusetts, makes his first appearance in the rankings after transferring in from Texas. He was a standout at the NEPSAC Showcases this summer and will team with [player_tooltip player_id='2407058' first='Cole' last='Blackburn'] this winter to give Worcester Academy one of the most athletic and dynamic wing tandems in the northeast. The 6'8" wing has some wiggle off the bounce, can initiate offense from the high post and elbows, and attacks the rim as a driver or roller out of screens. He's really good in transition, does a nice job of making plays on the offensive glass, and, defensively, is capable of guarding any position while making disruptive, game-changing plays. He's been a big stock riser this month, picking up offers from UMass and Vermont.

Minlend, a newcomer to Brewster Academy in New Hampshire, appears in the rankings after making the move north from North Carolina. The 6'6" wing is a wiry athlete that does a great job of moving without the basketball and shows the ability to score around the rim with both touch and power. He has long arms that allow him to finish over size and covers ground quickly with long strides, particularly in transition. He even shows the ability to play as a pick and pop forward when playing up a position. Defensively, he has a ton of versatility. makes a big time impact on the glass, and does a nice job of creating turnovers in passing lanes.

Alexander, a post-graduate at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire, makes his first appearance in the rankings after announcing that he'll head to the northeast from California. The 6'8" lefty is noticably bigger and stronger than he was last summer and should make a major impact in Class A this winter. He can handle the ball in transition. stretches a defense with his ability to knock down shots, and does a nice job of moving without the basketball to score around the rim. Defensively, he shows good instincts in rotation, the ability to initiate the break with outlet passes, and reads the ball well off the rim on the glass.

Olafisoye, a newcomer to the New Hampton School in New Hampshire, impressed with his inside-out scoring ability and nose for the ball on the offensive glass. He's got a well-developed frame, uses his strength to his advantage when carving out space around the basket, and even shows the ability to step out and knock down threes in catch and shoot situations. He's a grab-and-go rebounder defensively, can guard up and down a lineup with his combination of mobility and size, and does a nice job of outworking opponents for loose balls around the rim. He is a prospect that could really see his stock improve this winter with a strong season in Class AAA.

Einarsson, a newcomer at the Northfield Mount Hermon School in Massachusetts, is a big man in the middle that has the ability to impact games with his size on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he shows some touch as a scorer around the basket, while doing his work early to establish position in the paint. He's a two-way rebounder, does a nice job of rolling hard to the rim out of ball screens, and is capable of running the floor ahead of the defense in transition. He should provide NMH with a paint presence this winter and has the ability to drastically improve his stock with continued offensive development.

Keep an eye out for more rankings update coverage this week as we take a look at Risers, offer Positional Breakdowns, and cover the Watch List.
