Sangermano has been a presence in New England since his freshman season and will look to cap off his career in style for Loomis Chaffee. The 6’5″ wing has a college ready frame and some good athletic pop, particularly as a finisher around the rim. His offensive arsenal includes the ability to score it as a slasher or cutter, with deep range in catch and shoot situations, and in transition. He rebounds above the rim and in space, and has the ability to guard up and down a position. His basketball IQ stands out and he consistently makes winning plays that don’t show up in box scores.

Sangermano, an athletic wing from Loomis Chaffee, checks into the latest rankings update at #39. A talented perimeter shooter, he does a good job of making shots in catch and shoot situations, out of DHO actions, and coming off of screens. He leverages his shooting to open up driving lanes, as well as passing windows. On top of that, he’s a high IQ cutter that finishes with either hand around the rim. Defensively, he can guard any perimeter spot and adds some punch on the defensive glass.

Sangermano, who enrolled this offseason at Loomis Chaffee, put together a solid showing this summer with the Mass Rivals. A physical and tough wing, Sangermano impresses with both his skill and athleticism. While he’s always been a solid perimeter shooter, he’s turned himself into a three level scorer over the last year, taking full advantage of his physical gifts to finish with authority around the rim. He has a college ready frame, good feel for the game on the offensive end, and the ability to make highlight plays in transition. He’s tough in the mid-range, can attack closeouts off the bounce, and is a willing ball mover. Defensively, he’s capable of guarding up or down a position and does a really good job of rebounding in space. He’s on the radar as a scholarship level prospect and should be a key component to what Loomis Chaffee hopes to achieve this winter.

Nick is a player who I think has division 1 college level potential. He is an athletic 6-5 wing. As just a freshman on the varsity team, Nick proved he can play against older competition. He often lead his team in scoring. He was named MVC conference all star as a Freshman. Once in an AAU game he made an incredible 15 three pointers. He really worked hard last offseason to improve his guard skills, and that really paid off. He can handle the ball, finish off 1 or 2 feet in the lane, and dunk with ease. He is also a lights out shooter, and a good defender. I saw Nick play a number of times last year live and always liked what I saw.
