Balducci, a guard out of the Loomis Chaffee School in Connecticut, jumped 26 spots in this update and now sits at #29 overall in the rankings. The 6’0″ guard is a pure shot creator, playing with good shift and the ability to create space off the bounce. He finishes with a ton of creativity in the paint and does a nice job of elevating into his mid-range jumper to get it off over bigger defenders. He’s one of the better isolation scorers in this class in New England. On the other end, he’s capable of guarding either back-court spot and does a nice job of making plays off the ball.

Balducci is a tough three-level scorer who consistently finds ways to put points on the board. He does a great job of getting to his spots and playing with confidence in the half court. When defenders give him space, he’s comfortable rising up and knocking down shots over the top. He also shows the ability to score off the bounce, keeping defenses honest. Balducci plays with a strong feel for pace and doesn’t force the action. His scoring versatility makes him difficult to game plan against. He’s a player to continue to watch as his impact continues to grow.

The 6-foot guard might be undersized, but he’s unbelievably quick and skilled and can score in major bunches from anywhere on the court. He can get to the rim and finish athletically with both hands, he can stroke it from three, and he can consistently get to his spots in the mid range and elevate for easy pull up jumpers over the defense. Simply put, nobody can stay in front of Balducci and stop him from getting his shot off, which I imagine he’ll do a lot of this season. He is a major breakout candidate.

Balducci was carrying the offensive load for Loomis Chaffee against a really tough Hotchkiss team. The 6-foot guard is obviously undersized, but he’s incredibly shifty with the ball and has a great first step off the dribble. Most impressive, though, is his ability to hit tough off-the-dribble shots with a hand in his face and his footwork slightly off. He has a beautiful stroke and can really light it up from long range. He kept LC in the game for quite some time before Hotchkiss was just too much.

He changes speeds effortlessly, keeping defenders off balance and creating space with sharp hesitation moves. His quick first step allows him to blow by opponents and get downhill with ease. Balducci’s ability to score at all three levels makes him a dynamic and dangerous offensive weapon.

Balducci is a smart, skilled guard who consistently makes the right plays. He has a high basketball IQ and keeps the offense flowing with good decision-making. His shooting ability allows him to effectively space the floor and stretch defenses. Whether on or off the ball, he contributes with poise and efficiency.

The Riverside Hawks guard has been torching the nets this spring, showing off his ability to score the ball while also providing his group with a quality playmaker. Balducci, one of the top 2028’s in New England, is a crafty scorer around the rim, using soft touch, euro-steps, and an impressive floater game to finish over size. He attacks closeouts, getting downhill quickly, and also shows deep range on his jumper. He’s a solid shooter that can make standstill catch and shoot threes or hit movement jumpers coming off screens.

His timing on his half-court passes was remarkable, and his recipients were wide open every time to effectively score the basketball. His effort on the boards also stood out, as he was grabbing rebounds over much bigger players and giving his team second chances to score buckets.
