About Kevin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a dynamic guard who plays with pace and control. I excel in catch-and-shoot situations, attacking the rim, and drawing contact to create scoring opportunities. I’m effective off the ball with strong movement and spacing, and I bring energy on both ends of the floor. I’m continuing to develop my handle and shot creation to become a more complete three-level scorer and playmaker.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a resilient and coachable athlete who takes pride in my work ethic and growth. I bring a competitive mindset every time I step on the court and use the game as a way to push myself mentally and physically. I stay disciplined, positive, and focused on improving, and I value being a great teammate who leads through effort, consistency, and accountability.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Active member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), where I build leadership, character, and faith alongside other student-athletes. Through FCA, I focus on encouraging teammates, staying grounded, and representing my values both on and off the field/court.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills through sports and being part of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I lead by example with my work ethic, energy, and willingness to support my teammates. I’ve also built discipline, accountability, and mental toughness, learning how to stay focused and push through adversity while keeping a positive mindset.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve faced personal and mental challenges growing up, including times where I felt overlooked and had to prove myself without much recognition. I’ve also dealt with family struggles that tested my mindset and forced me to mature early. I’m looking for a college that challenges me both academically and athletically. I want to be part of a program with a strong culture, where coaches believe in player development and push their athletes to reach their full potential.
