Expert Analysis
Mark Miller | Prep Hoops Scout
A true bulldog on the court, Pleau is super aggressive and super strong, traits that help him get to the basket and score through contact. He averaged just 4.9 points as a junior for a strong Kimberly program, but has proven this summer both with the Papermakers and with Team 1848 that he figures to evolve into a more prolific scorer in 2025-26. He can score from the mid range, from outside the arc and, most assuredly, off the dribble. Also an outstanding running back for the Kimberly football program, Pleau is a very good athlete who figures to be one of the key pieces for coach Kam Cerroni’s first squad at Kimberly.

Kimberly played four intense games in Plymouth, beating Sheboygan South and Northwestern while dropping close games to Whitefish Bay and Oostburg. Pleau was the Papermakers’ best player in all four games. An aggressive, strong and skilled combination guard, Pleau got to the basket on a regular basis. He has a quick burst that usually allows him to get past his defender and when bigs rotate over to stop his progress, Pleau is able to score through contact due to his physical strength. Pleau averaged 4.9 ppg as a junior for a senior-dominated Kimberly squad, but he looks like a double-figure scorer for first-year Kimberly coach Kam Cerroni as a senior.
