Expert Analysis
Brett Pickarts | Prep Hoops Scout
Dahlke may be one of the best shooters in the 2026 class, and he showed it on Friday night. The six-foot-five senior is able to knock down threes in waves, due to his very quick release and his length to shoot over opposing defenders. Caleb had 11 second half points canning threes, and getting to the rim to finish through physical and athletic defenders for Tomah. Caleb had an outstanding shooting percentage from three this season shooting 48 percent on 283 attempts. Dahlke is so talented hitting perimeter shots off of zoom actions, screens, and handoffs making him capable to go on personal 6-0, 9-0 runs at any time. Dahlke finished with 17 points on the night and is one of the many scoring options for FVL that very well could beat La Crosse Central on the road tomorrow night.

Dahlke has an impressive blend of size, footwork, and shooting touch that made him a difficult matchup on Tuesday night. He was a key reason why FVL took Freedom down to the wire, and despite the loss he was one of the game’s standouts. Caleb is a pick & pop threat from three, has a nice face up game, and can also use his strength to go to work when isolated on the block. Isn’t going to stand out with elite quickness or explosiveness at his size, but stands out with poise and patience. Mixes in shot fakes to get defenders in the air before putting the ball on the floor. Even when guarded by a 6’7 D1 prospect at times, Caleb found ways to make plays and keep his team in the game.
