I really liked the two-way versatility Hopkins displayed in the two games I watched in Worcester. He showed the ability to score in a variety of ways, whether it was finishing around the basket, knocking down shots from beyond the arc, or utilizing his in-between game. He also flashed some impressive off-the-bounce scoring ability that caught my attention and highlighted his offensive upside. One of Hopkins’ biggest strengths is his positional versatility. He can play multiple spots on the floor and impact the game in different roles depending on what his team needs. Defensively, his length becomes a major factor. It makes it difficult for opponents to drive past him cleanly, and he does a nice job using his reach to disrupt passing lanes and make difficult passes even tougher to complete. He looks like the type of player who could be an excellent late addition for a college program in the Class of 2026, while also profiling as someone Division one programs should prioritize early if he is a member of the Class of 2027. His blend of tools and production gives him significant value on both ends of the floor.

Up from No. 59: Hopkins has a good feel for the game. Lefty is a routine box score filler. He can play either on or off the ball. When Kareem collects rebounds he looks to push it himself. Hopkins shoots the three very well off the catch and off the dribble. He is getting better and better as a drive-and-kick creator.

Up from No. 70: At 6-foot-6, has terrific size on the perimeter. Sees the floor well. Southpaw is smooth with his jumper. Gets his shot off with ease. Has a floater downhill. Adding strength will help him score more efficiently in the paint through contact. Has the tools to become an above average defender.
