Boen is an explosive athlete who already has quite a fun highlight reel to watch. At 6’8, he’s got guard speed and handles that make him a very hard player to guard. He’s a great cutter who obviously finishes at the rim at a high rate with plenty of dunks and lobs. Boen does not have your normal post skillset; that being said, at his size he’s more than capable of playing in the post. What makes him such a special player is his wing skillset; the stepback threes and ball-handling are not something you see every day in high school basketball.

Being 6’7 Boen still plays mostly on the wing. He hit multiple threes and even came off multiple screens for open looks. He’s far from just a catch-and-shoot player though. The 2027 prospect looked very comfortable with the ball in the high post. He was very efficient in the mid-range with both fadeaways and off the catch. The most impressive part about Boen was his back-to-the-basket playmaking. He hit multiple teammates on back door cuts with crisp bounce passes.

Boen’s ability to score consistently and efficiently gives him a strong rankings outlook. He’s the type of player involved in winning plays. His stock is rising because he’s proving he can be productive against quicker athletes and bigger guards. If his handle, defense, and shot creation continue to expand, he becomes a real candidate to push into the next tier in the class.

Kade Boen Kade Boen 6'7" | SG/SF Lamar | 2027 State AR is one of the more intriguing long-term wings in the 3A field, bringing a 6’5 frame and a smooth, perimeter-friendly skill set to Lamar’s lineup. He’s a matchup problem when he gets downhill, using his length to finish above or around contests, and he shows flashes of real versatility as a slasher who can slide between the SG/SF spots.

Boen’s size on the wing immediately stands out. He brings a fluid scoring touch and a frame that projects long‑term versatility. He’s comfortable attacking closeouts, finishing above the rim, and showing flashes as a shot‑maker. As his motor and defensive consistency rise, his ceiling becomes even more intriguing.

Boen is a long, fluid wing with upside as a scorer and defender. His frame and athleticism pop immediately, and he’s shown flashes of shot-making and rim protection. If he continues to grow into his body and refine his handle, he could be a future star in Arkansas.
