Expert Analysis
Shane Garcia | Prep Hoops Scout
Haralson is a solid all-around player with the size and athleticism to make an impact inside and out. He’s a strong slasher who knows how to use his body to finish at the rim, and he defends well on the perimeter. What makes him valuable is how steady he is — he doesn’t have glaring weaknesses and brings consistency on both ends. Haralson is the type of player who helps win games in multiple ways.

This player excels as a physical wing or forward, known for his physicality and strength. He consistently contributes by doing the dirty work, such as securing tough rebounds, setting screens, and battling in the paint. His ability to score dirty points —those tough and extra-effort plays—highlights his work ethic and determination. His strength and relentless playstyle make him a valuable asset in both offensive and defensive situations.

Haralson stood out for Hopson Elite 2025 on Sunday with his elite physical tools, consistent motor, and his ability to score around the basket with his combination of size and athleticism. Then, he became even more impressive as a prospect when you realize he is in the Class of 2026 at Fremont Ross High School and playing up an age division. Really like his long-term potential. 6’6″ forward with a versatile skill set.

Playing up an age group this weekend, I thought this was a good experience for Haralson. A physically imposing big for his age, Haralson has the size, body and athleticism to be a problem in the paint. With a couple dunks and rebounds I saw flashes of his dominance. Consistently battling in the paint, rebounding and scoring at the rim are key for Haralson. If he can master the dirty work, the rest will work itself out for Haralson.
