Nance is one part of a Notre Dame back-court that is among the best in the Western U.S. The 6-foot-5 lefty continues to raise his stock with productive play as a scoring and playmaking guard who can play on or off the ball. Nance had his three-point and mid-range jumper dialed in on Tuesday which he was connecting on both off the catch and off the bounce. The senior’s positional size, and continued improvements over the last year, have made him a highly sought after prospect.

Josiah Nance is a smooth bucket getter who gets it done from the perimeter and inside. He plays with good pace and strikes at the right time. He also has a quick trigger, which he uses when he feels the defense closing out. He also works hard on defense, and is the type of guy who can deflect/jump passes. Nance has recently gotten offer from USC, Depaul, Wake Forest, Boston College, and SMU. Putting him at 17 D1 offers.

Josiah Nance is a tough cover on offense. He uses his burst and change of direction skills to elude defenders. Using his tight handles as well to protect the rock in traffic. He drops in both jumpers and 3 pointers, making him someone the defense constantly has to account for. Nance also gets it done on the other end of the court, where he uses his length and speed to be effective. Expect him to keep turning heads during the upcoming Live Period events.

Versatile three-level scoring threat that consistently generated efficient offense throughout the weekend. Operated with confidence getting to pull-up mid-range jumpers, catch-and-shoot threes, and a polished fadeaway that created separation against contests. Played with strong pace and composure, moving well without the ball and understanding how to find openings within the offense. Shot preparation and balance stood out on catch-and-shoot opportunities, allowing him to get clean looks off quickly and consistently. Also showed impressive touch and control finishing in traffic, absorbing contact and converting in tight spaces around the rim.
