Ahart is an underrated name to get to know in the Christ School frontcourt this season. He’s a 6-foot-9 forward who’s shown he can be a presence in the pick-and-roll game as well as on the perimeter as a stretch forward and creator. He’s an improving name with offers recently from Newberry College and Oglethorpe University with another season approaching.

Ahart is a prospect who’s seen his recruitment slow over the past few months but look for it to blossom again with STARS Basketball Club on the UAA stage this weekend. He’s an emerging prospect who’s hungry to prove himself after playing limited minutes this past season with Christ School. He’s shown flashes of his ability to shoot the ball at the wing spot and as he shows he can attack the rim/painted area with the same consistency, look for his recruitment to grow.

With Christ School’s frontcourt graduating, Ahart has the chance to become a vital post presence and affect games in many different ways for the Greenies. He’s had an outstanding summer to back it up as well. At 6’8, he’s got a projectable frame that should pencil him in as a Division 1 4 man or small ball 5, and does a lot on the defensive end to solidify that role. He protects the rim very well and is mobile enough to step out and guard multiple positions. His frame could use more weight, but he still rebounds and blocks shots at a high level. Offensively he runs the floor better than most at his size and continues to get better with his touch and abilities on that end as well. He should become a viable Division 1 player quickly, especially with his defensive skills.
