Kaden Hammond Kaden Hammond 6’8″ | PF The Burlington School | 2025 State NC is a name to get to know in NC’s 2025 class given his pedigree at the center/forward spot. He’s shown he can come in off the bench and be a spark in a variety of ways with Team CP3 on the EYBL scene this summer. With a nice shooting stroke and solid mobility, he’s a 6-foot-8 prospect for college programs at the D1 level to get to know this season at The Burlington School as they look to win another title.
Najai Hines Najai Hines 6’9″ | C South Garner | 2025 State NC is due to have a breakout season at South Garner High on the varsity scene after wreaking havoc on JV this past season. He’s a high energy big man at 6-foot-9 that can block shots, defend multiple spots on the floor and finish with authority around the rim. He utilizes his size well on both ends of the floor and is a walking double-double waiting to happen on the hardwood.

Joseph Ahart Joseph Ahart 6’9″ | PF Christ School | 2025 State NC ‘s ranking is due to skyrocket as he’s emerged as a name to know in NC’s 2025 class with Christ School during the June Live Period. He’s a sizeable name to get to know at 6-foot-9 and D1 programs are certainly starting to take notice. He’ll be a lethal name in the frontcourt alongside Zymicah Wilkins.
Jake Cackovic Jake Cackovic 6’7″ | C Holly Springs | 2025 State NC is another 2025 name to get to know in the painted area this season with Holly Springs. He’s got a nice feel for where to be on the floor as a center-forward that’s capable of knocking down shots on the perimeter and defending with presence on the interior. He did well as a contributor off the bench for the Golden Hawks and really showed his development this summer with Strong Center . He’ll be a lethal 1-2 punch in the pick-and-roll game with Will James at the guard spot this season.
Grant Clayton Grant Clayton 6’7″ | C AC Reynolds | 2025 State NC is a name to get to know out of AC Reynolds High. He does well on the floor as a rim-runner and finisher around the paint, using his mobility in a variety of ways to make things happen. On the rebounding front, he’s shown he can be a presence on both the defensive and offensive side as a cleanup man with a nice touch around the rim. He produced 7.3 PPG, 5.5 RPG and 1.1 BPG as a sophomore as he looks to breakout entering his junior season.
