leaps up to #12 in the updated 2027 rankings after being outside the top 35. He was one of Legacy’s go to guys this year, averaging over 18 PPG. And he got the job done on a consistent basis thanks to his aggressiveness, skill, and athleticism. He’s also a gritty defender on the other end, and can make opponents take contested shots or pass it off all together. He’ll surely be a prospect to keep an eye out for this spring and summer.

was effective for Legacy thanks to his offensive rebounding, strong drives, and he buried a 3 at the end of the first half. In addition to his scoring, he was competing with intensity on defense and I liked how he played hard all 4 quarters. Although his season is now over, he proved a lot this year and might just be a stock riser in the next rankings update.

was operating in the paint all game for the Longhorns. He utilized his strength, footwork, and vertical to fill it up. And I liked how he used patience at times before going up with it. Perdue also hit multiple clutch shots that helped Legacy advance to the Championship. It was an impressive performance from the junior.

was a constant problem for Losee, using his explosiveness to get to his spots and finish effectively around the rim. He then really got going in the third quarter, pouring in 10 points for the Longhorns. Including two alley-oop finishes (one layup and one dunk). On the defensive end, Perdue stayed active with his hands, helping create chaos and coming away with at least one steal.

can carve up defenses on the inside thanks to his shiftiness, burst, and vertical ability. He skirts around defenders for a smooth layup or elevate for a dunk when the opportunity presents itself. On defense, Perdue’s lateral quickness and instincts allow him to cut off drives and poke the ball away when it’s unprotected.

is rather shifty when make maneuvers in the paint. His elusiveness helps him skirt around defenders and he can make tough finishes around the rim. Perdue’s athleticism is also a factor on defense. If he needs to close a gap he can, and he’s also able to alter shots thanks to his vertical. All in all, he made a number of notable contributions and he competed with intensity.

did a bit of scoring in the paint for the Legacy Longhorns at Section 7. He uses good patience when he feels defensive pressure, and let’s it go at the right time. As a defender, Purdue was competing hard and chasing rebounds.

Jordyn Perdue provided steady offense for the Longhorns on Tuesday night. The sophomore got to the basket using some crafty moves and was also drawing contact as well. On the other side of the court, Purdue did a solid job of limiting Palo Verde’s guards production.
