He figures to be one of their primary scoring options, and he can get it done in multiple ways. His textbook form allows him to consistently cash in on jumpers and three-point attempts. He also has a few crafty maneuvers in his bag that he can utilize to get all the way to the cup. Keith can be disruptive on the defensive end too, and there's definitely a chance that he makes a few more strides before the season officially begins.

Jacorey Boyce knows how to hit the turbo button and breeze past opponents. To me, that's his obvious strong suit, and he's also the type of guard who refuses to be denied when he goes up with it. On top of that, it's great to see how often he gets to the free throw line. Between his next-level speed and assertiveness, I think he's capable of averaging north of 18 points per game. Boyce should also wreak some havoc on defense this fall, thanks to his active hands and lateral quickness.

[player_tooltip player_id='2280428' first='Jaylan' last='Virgil'] is a prospect who came from California over the summer. I've written about a few times now and for good reason. He'll be a key player for the Cougars, and I'm looking forward to seeing how he continues to collaborate with his new teammates. It's definitely possible that he becomes even more dangerous as a scorer. Virgil can also help Coronado win games on the defensive end, with his effort, intensity, and athleticism. Which help him make life difficult for opposing guards.

Jordan Perdue was obviously a top performer in 4A last season (Mountain League MVP), and he may dominate game in and game out this upcoming season. His athleticism helps him skirt around defenders, and not many guys have a legitimate chance of blocking his shot once he gets off the ground, as he has the vertical to go along with his speed. I noticed him develop his perimeter game a bit this summer too, and if he can consistently mesh that with his inside scoring, good luck to opposing defenders. Perdue should make his presence felt on defense often as well, where I think he'll rack up blocks, get into passing lanes, and come away with his fair share of steals and deflections.

Mason Phillips is a new face that you'll see over at Bishop Gorman if you haven't already. He is a dynamic 2028 combo guard with plenty of upside. He figures to make a difference by slashing to the cup and letting it go from 3 point land, and I think he'll get in on some offensive boards as well. Defensively, Phillips should be able to leverage his wingspan to alter passes and cause turnovers. He's an intriguing junior, and it'll be great to see how his overall game develops in the coming months.
