Stimpson is one of the most competitive kids in recent memory. He wills himself & his team to high levels of achievement, including bringing home the 3rd place trophy from the state tournament this year. The lefty finds a way to make winning plays for himself & his teammates & will be tough to replace next season. Stimpson will be joining the football program at the University of Nevada in the Mountain West Conference.

Stimpson delivered a strong, well-rounded tournament performance, averaging 15.3 points and 2.7 assists per game while showcasing his ability to impact the game in multiple ways. A flat-out scorer, Stimpson is a solid all-around shooter who can hurt defenses from all three levels—his mid-range game is especially strong, and he’s a reliable threat from beyond the arc. He combines his scoring with quickness and craftiness with the ball, allowing him to create space and get quality looks. As a floor general, Stimpson plays with great awareness and consistently makes the right reads, while also embracing his role as a team player and leader. On the defensive end, he’s a good defender who competes every possession, and his motor stands out—he goes 100% every play. Add in his ability to deliver in big moments as a clutch performer, and it’s clear why he’s considered one of the top dual-sport athletes in the state.

Stimpson who finished with 17 points is a true floor general who controls the pace and keeps his team organized. A flat-out scorer, Stimpson can put points on the board in a variety of ways, highlighted by his excellent mid-range game. His speed allows him to create separation and push the tempo, making him difficult to contain. One of the top dual-sport athletes in the state, Stimpson’s competitiveness and athleticism show up every time he steps on the floor.

A crafty guard with a smooth outside shot, he scored from multiple spots while staying active on both ends. Quick and a solid defender, Stimpson also came through in clutch moments and contributed across the board for his team.

Jesuit was pretty balanced across the board and had a number of guys that could be POY candidates but Stimpson gets the edge due to the impact he had more than just scoring. The senior could certainly put points on the board but it’s the physical style of play from the future Nevada football standout that made him a huge factor on the defensive side of the ball. He was also a clutch performer, converting the big four-point play that propelled the Crusaders to a huge win over Southridge at home.

Stimpson continues to establish himself as one of the top combo guards in the Metro League. A polished shooter with range, he pairs quickness and athleticism with the ability to slash and finish at the rim. Stimpson plays with tenacity on both ends, rebounds exceptionally well for a guard, and embraces his role as a team-first competitor. He finished with 16 points, showcasing his versatility and impact across the floor.

A dynamic slasher who never seems to turn it off, he attacked early and poured in 10 points in the first quarter alone. Stimpson is also a capable passer and explosive leaper, making him a constant threat in space. A standout multi-sport athlete, he is signed to Nevada–Reno for football, and his physical tools clearly translate to the hardwood.

A true team player, Stimpson makes smart decisions, competes on both ends, and finished with 18 points and 6 rebounds, highlighting his versatility and consistency.
