is a 2023 wing still looking for a college home. Ware had a big Senior year at Park Center scoring 18 points a game while showcasing he’s a serious 3&D threat. Long, athletic, played in a man-to-man match-up defense so you know he’s been individually tested.

continued to produce at a high level as a senior. Against Osseo he had a team high 19 points in a win. Ware is one of the best three point shooters I’ve seen this winter, combining his 6’6 frame with excellent elevation to make it difficult for defenders to contest. With all of the talent around him, JJ does a nice job of not wasting any dribbles or holding on to the ball too long. He catches ready to shoot, and if you don’t get a hand up quickly he’s going to let it fly and hit at a high percentage. I also like how he was competing on the glass, using his quick bounce off the floor to pull in offensive boards and go right back up with the ball.

. The six-foot-six-inch wing from Park Center is having a breakout season still surrounded by talent. Ware is averaging 17.9 points-per-game and has 6 20-point performances through 17 games. Ware’s calling card has been defense as he uses length and quickness to defend multiple positions. The long, springy wing’s improvement from beyond the 3-point has been his strongest improvement.

has had a really nice senior season, and after struggling with some injuries over his first few seasons I think he’s been a big stock riser this year. At 6’5-6’6 he has good positional size on the wing, and is the type of shooter that you can’t give any space to because he can quickly elevate for his shot. You don’t see many shooters his size get the type of lift on their outside jumper that JJ gets. Against Totino-Grace there were multiple times where he caught the ball and quickly elevated to get his shot off over a college sized defender. Doesn’t over dribble the ball, and is an efficient scorer with the looks he gets. Defensively he has very long arms and can cover a lot of ground with his stride to defend on the ball. Has also continued to add strength each year and can withstand contact around the basket to avoid fouling when his man tries to get to the rim.

JJ has continued to be Park Center’s leading scoring option this season and that did not change on Monday. The senior wing has proven himself to be one of the top shooters in the state and has been lights out in the catch-and-shoot. He finished the win over #2-AA Holy Family with a team-high 21 points, scoring from beyond the arc, as well as in the paint in transition. Ware has been a team-high scorer for the Pirates in six out of the last seven games, leaving him with an average of over 18 points per game. Whoever gets JJ at the next level, is getting confident scorer who will also do all of the little things necessary to contribute to a winning team.

has been coming up big for Park Center lately, and with some key players missing the bulk of the first half in foul trouble he stepped up again on Saturday night. The 6’5-6’6 small forward stretched the floor as he knocked down three outside shots, showcasing impressive elevation on his jumper. He’s put on a good amount of muscle over the past two years as well, and it showed as he was banging in the post to pull down rebounds and also power through contact for tough finishes at the rim. Finished with 21 points and 8 rebounds in a hard fought win.

was key for Park Center in their highly anticipated showdown with Totino-Grace. At 6’5 he not only provides plenty of size alternating between the 3 and 4 spots, but he’s also a knockdown shooter from beyond the arcs who keeps the floor spread for some of the athletic slashers on his team. JJ is capable of knocking down jumpers off the catch or dribble, and he gets great elevation on his shot making it difficult for defenders to get a good contest on him. Hit a key three from the corner late in the game to help hold off one last run from TG.

JJ caught fire in Thursday’s huge matchup with Totino-Grace. The unsigned senior scored a game-high 19 points, doing most of the damage from beyond the arc. He connected with 4 three-pointers and did a wonderful job hovering around the perimeter to put himself in the perfect place for a pass from a teammate. After he would receive a pass, he can get shots off very quick and under control, even if he is still moving slightly. Ware has flown under the radar in the past couple seasons and will provide many positive attributes to wherever he ends up at the next level.
