Kimbrough erupted for a game-high 36 points on an ultra-efficient 12-of-18 shooting, knocking down 6-of-9 from deep and repeatedly rising to the moment against one of the state’s elite defenses. Accounting for nearly half of his team’s offense, his poise, shot-making, and leadership powered the upset and clearly separated him as the most impactful player on the floor with season averages of 20.4 points per game while shooting over 61% from the field and 56% from three.
