Carter didn’t see any varsity run last season at Cedar Falls, and he may not even crack the varsity roster this year on another loaded Tigers squad, but there is no denying that there is a lot of talent here. He’s an intelligent, skilled ball-handler and shot creator who sees the floor well, plays with pace, and can set his teammates up at a high level.

Carter is another young guard who thrives in ball screen actions, knowing how to read the coverage well and adapting on the fly. He has great body control around the rim and can finish through or around contact at the bucket. He sees the floor extremely well and loves to get his teammates involved. He’s one of the better ball-handlers in the class at this point, keeping his handle tight and doing a great job protecting the ball.
