started 23 of 24 games last season for the Cadets, finishing as their second-leading scorer at 13.8 points per contest.
Seeing him play for the first time over the weekend, one can easily recognize how he was able to score as well as he did during his sophomore campaign. A sharp-shooter who drilled over 40% of his threes last year, Sir handled pressure well from opposing defenses, even showing the ability to swing through, pull up and bang a three from the corner against Washington. Able to step into threes off-the-dribble, too, Sir may be one of the top shooters in 2A next year if he keeps it up at a higher clip.

Drake has solid size for his position and has the kind of guard skills that make him tough to match up with. On Saturday, he was scoring from all three levels. He could make one move to get downhill where he could bump his defender for an easy finish. I saw him knock down an open look from three off the catch, and attack baseline and pull up in the mid-range.

Despite his team struggling to find a rhythm as a collective on Sunday morning, Sir was a bright spot with his consistent shooting. He has such a pretty shooting form that gives every shot he puts up a chance to go in, at least it looks that way. I was impressed with his ability to create shots for himself off the ball, kind of like the way JJ Redick used to create and take relocation threes. It’s sometimes hard to find guys that create for themselves off the ball like that, so it was fun to watch Sir do it on Sunday morning.
