Chaves is really starting to come into his own as an athletic and electric prospect. Plays much bigger than his size thanks to his ability to quickly get off the floor. Especially with his plus wingspan. While still most effective as an energy, transition runner and off the ball cutter, he does look to be improving skill wise. Capable shooter and can put it on the floor as a driver. Given the talented guards that he’s playing with, his above the rim ability could make him one of the most exciting players to watch in Oklahoma.
