One of the best shooters from outside I saw all day was Jamison Rowe. The lefty has an insanely quick release and made it very difficult for defenders to get a quality contest on him. He started the game off hot with Minnesota Falcon’s first nine points in the first half. He did the majority of his damage in catch-and-shoot situations, but could put the ball on the floor and create as well. When Rowe heats up, he can be a nightmare for opponents. He saw some solid varsity minutes last season as a junior at Holy Angels.

Jamison was a prospect that I was not very familiar with coming into Sunday but he instantly caught my eye in the first game of the day. The combination of his quickness and shot creating ability is what stuck out to me most and he was a problem for opposing defenders to deal with. The lefty was very tough to stop from attacking his dominant side of the basket and used his quick release to get shots off before defenders could close out in time. Rowe was successful in pick & roll situations and off the catch. The junior guard was a key player for Holy Angels this season.

Jamison was shooting the lights out last night, and with a talented passer like

he was able to feast off catch and shoot threes. Recognized when his man left to help stop the dribble drive, and moved into the right space to receive a kickout pass and let it fly from deep . The junior guard has a quick release to beat the closeout, and it allowed him to put up a season high 21 points. Has now scored in double figures in his last four games after scoring a combined 8 points in the first two games of the year.
