How do you think your team and yourself performed throughout this season?
-I think we performed great ! A lot of people counted us out but we came together at the right time.
What was the biggest obstacle you and your team faced this season?
-The biggest obstacle was just sacrificing self for TEAM. We had a lot of guys that could’ve easily averaged 15-20ppg at other schools but a state championship was the overall goal for all of us.
What do you think you improved most on the court?
-Leadership and sacrificing my individual play.
What are you looking to improve before the next level?
-I would like to just get stronger and take contact better.
Who are some teammates that you think stood out this season? Who are some teammates who could have breakout years next year in your eyes?
-J.Stew, Legend, Emmett, Rell definitely all stood out and several other guys at key moments. I definitely see Stew & Legend having break out years they just want it and have a certain hunger that’s rare on the high school level.

Strengths: Shooting, Passing
Breakdown: Jackson is a super agile knockdown shooter. His range extends far beyond the 3-point line and he’s able to pull the trigger fast with a succinct motion and consistent follow through. He hasn’t gotten a lot of opportunities to be a playmaker on a team rife with quick, attacking guards, but Jackson has the vision and quickness to pose a lot of problems with the ball in his hands.
Outlook: He isn’t the biggest guard, but he has the tools to be a combo guard at the next level thanks to his shooting and vision. You can stick him out there anywhere around the arc and count on his shooting, but in order to be a more effective defender at the next level he could add some strength. He already has the feet and the hands to be a plus defender and adding some strength would help him guarding players at the next level.
Offers: None
Interest: Pacific Lutheran University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Allen University, University of New Mexico, Central Washington University

displaying elite athleticism and an ability to slash to the hoop, Jackson should see plenty of open looks from long-range. It wasn’t quite as easy last season at Franklin, but the added depth offensively should allow him to operate with more space and heighten his efficiency this season. Jackson put up some big scoring outbursts throughout the spring and summer and should replicate that at least a few times with Garfield this winter.

Jackson is an interesting piece to this team coming over from Franklin High School. He is going to be a big threat from downtown, spacing the floor for the Bulldogs, but he also brings underrated athleticism that should play right into their high-pressure defense. He could have a big year, getting more open looks with all of the talent this team has attacking the hoop.

No. 10 | Rounding out the top ten guards is one of the best shooters in the area. Jackson is a lefty stroker with a quick release who paces the Quakers and leads from the point guard spot. I think a lot of people got enamored with his shooting ability last season and early in the spring. Jackson has good fight in his game and finds ways to get it done. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him show off a more dynamic scoring ability next season.
