The St. Paul Johnson guard was electric in the open floor with the ability to turn defense into offense in the blink of an eye. Mays was a pest defending on the ball utilizing his lateral quickness to get right up under opposing guards, and fighting over screens to stick with them wherever they went. Good body control to just hang in the air and finish from a variety of angles agaisnt size. Helped lead his Chill team to an opening night win.

Powerhouse MN went down to the wire with Starks Elite yesterday afternoon, and Jalani’s play was a big reason why. The 5’10 guard was able to get to the rim just about any time he wanted to, weaving in-and-out of traffic with ease. He can change directions quickly on the ball, and knows how to utilize a ball screen to free himself up to drive. Once at the rim he did a nice job of playing off two feet, and showcased good body control to take some bumps while still being able to finish over bigger defenders.
