Playing big minutes for one of the better teams in the Madison area, Muniz is producing at a high level for coach Tyler Selk and the Warriors. The transfer from Arizona is averaging almost three made three-point shots per contest while helping Waunakee to an 11-4 record against a challenging schedule. In addition, Muniz is contributing 11.9 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists per outing. His competitiveness, quickness and aggressiveness are major assets for the Warriors.

A feisty defender who competes on every bounce of the ball, Muniz is a pest in the most positive sense of the word on defense. He has quick hands and very good lateral quickness so he can stay in front and bother opposing guards. Offensively, Muniz is lock and loaded, ready to shoot once the ball swings his way. And he is accurate from deep as well. He can play either guard spot, but is best with the ball in his hands and creating for himself and his teammates. Muniz transferred to Waunakee over the summer after moving to Wisconsin from Arizona.

made plays on both sides of the ball for Peak National at the Prep Hoops Bash In The Desert. On offense, he was making crafty maneuvers to get to the rack and set his teammates up for good looks He also managed to get to the free throw line at a decent rate. On defense, he played with some tenacity and he had both deflections and steals.
