King is the last of the stock rising combo guards in the class as he moves from No. 218 into the 85th spot in the final rankings update. He’s a sizeable prospect at 6-foot-6 who can operate on the wing and in the backcourt as he has his whole high school career. He reached the 1,000-point plateau in his career and secured a 3A NCISAA State title to close out his career as he looks for a home at the next level. College programs of all levels would be wise to take a look at him!

King is fresh off a commitment to Presbyterian College, but has not slowed his performances down. He had 28 to lead all scorers in a pre-Thanksgiving win over Mallard Creek, and 17 points and 6 boards in a big time victory over Greenfield. He’s a physical finisher around the rim that has some vertical bounce too. He’s a nightmare to match up on because of his positional size and physicality/strength. Getting better as a shooter too.

King is a really interesting name for college coaches with his guard/forward skills and being 6’6. He’s a do it all kind of guy, filling in on defense and offense when necessary. He’s an impressive leaper and shot blocker on defense, making him a good matchup for opposing wings or bigs. He can rebound well and also guard 2-5 for periods of time. Offensively his game is well rounded, shooting a lot of jumpers when I saw him play. He gets to work in the mid-range and extends out to the three point line, but also is strong in the paint with his above the rim ability. He has showcased his dunking and alley-oop abilities many a time when I’ve watched him play, and this weekend was similar. His stock is rising quickly as we head back into AAU live period in July.

Came off the bench and provided a nice offensive spark for his team in their matchup against Greensboro Warriors, scoring a team high of 10 Points. He can make plays off the catch or off the dribble and only seemed to get better as the game went on.
