I was really impressed with Massey as he had some big plays with breakaway dunks off two feet, showing off his explosiveness as a vertical athlete and sudden movements. Massey moves like an athlete in the open court and can explode through the air. With a spring in his step, Massey was tough to stop when he got to the rim. A new name I’ll be keeping an eye on in central Ohio, Massey could be a nice new name at the varsity level for Pickerington Central this winter.

I saw Massey compete with All In last month on our circuit and the young Combo Guard from Warren continued to impress this weekend. He pops immediately because of athletic fluidity on both ends of the floor. His plus bounce and speed provides significant value which he also showcased this past Spring playing in our Prep Hoops Circuit. He drove it hard baseline for a tough spin move and score. Also cut through the lane line off of a blob action set and was fouled on a dunk attempt. Massey showed he can spread the floor out as well with a couple knock down 3’s. He is an intriguing prospect that continues to show upside and is one to certainly keep tabs on over next 2 years.

Well equipped to fit into a 1 or 2 spot at the next level. Has speed and quickness with complimentary bounce in the athleticism boxes. Utilizes bounce to stay active on the glass. Handles it well in multiple phases while making proper reads in up tempo scenarios. Made some really clean passes in semi-final matchup. Continued to contest and challenge on and off the ball defensively. Helped team secure 16U championship in big way. Will continue to turn heads as summer progresses.
