Wood projects well as a 3 man at the next level with his strong and physical play. He has a blend of consistent energy and a high amount of effort that he provides on both ends. His versatility as a scorer to spot up from 3 off the catch or get to the rim with steam provides stability from inside and out. There were multiple times he chased down offenses in transition to help challenge at the basket and continued to provide activity in the passing lanes or on the ball in the ½ court setting. Wood makes strong crisp passes, rim runs, and brings a well rounded two way presence with a selfless brand of basketball to the wing position.

Wood is a 6’3” small forward that is a tough rebounder and finishes well around the hoop on dump off passes and floaters.

Made his mark with activity and awareness on both ends. Defensively, he denied cutters, disrupted passes, and showed quickness staying active on the ball. Protected the paint by boxing out effectively to secure rebounds. Offensively, displayed a knack for finding soft spots inside to make himself available as a scoring option.
