Who Were Sleeper Prospects That Shined at The EXPO

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>***Use Code “ScottyB30” for 30% off your subscription***</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Who were some of the sleeper prospects from The EXPO Illinois featuring prospects in the classes of 2027 and 2028?&nbsp; We compiled a group of a few of our favorite under the radar guys that should be monitored this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2403028' first='Jeffrey' last='Cade'] (Homewood Flossmoor – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cade is going to be a solid rotational player for HF.&nbsp; The point guard makes quick passes off live dribbles and overall is a sound decision maker with the ball.&nbsp; Could find himself at a small college a year from now.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2434317' first='Elijah' last='Willoughby'] (St. Ignatius – 2028)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Willoughby is a sleeper post that will be a nice player off the bench for Iggy.&nbsp; He presents legits size as an area rebounder that has soft touch around the hoop and is light on his feet.&nbsp; Solid hook shot.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2822666' first='Derrick' last='Moore'] (Lincoln Park – 2028)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Moore is a 6'7” wide bodied five man that has slimmed down some since we last saw him.&nbsp; Always has had some tools that make him worth monitoring with his size and touch around the hoop.&nbsp; He did a nice job of putting it on the deck from the mid-post along with being a dominant rebounder in his area.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2433661' first='Aamir' last='Smith'] (Whitney Young – 2028)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Smith brings quality size as a guard at 6'3”.&nbsp; Solid passing lead guard that makes good decisions with the ball in his hands.&nbsp; Worked well in the mid-range as a shot maker with pull ups and turnaround jumpers.&nbsp; Showed off his pop throwing down a couple of dunks as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3662488' first='Samuel' last='Carter'] (Homewood Flossmoor – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Yet another sleeper prospect from HF.&nbsp; Quick handles and is a quality passer on the move.&nbsp; Capable shooter.&nbsp; Look for him to be a solid backcourt piece off the bench for HF.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2906299' first='Jackson' last='Wood'] (Hope Christian Academy – 2028)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wood is one of the more prolific players that most people don't know about.&nbsp; Wing with solid size and a good skill level.&nbsp; Knocked in an array of triples with a clean shooting stroke from beyond the arc.&nbsp; Quality wing rebounder as well.<br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
