Willoughby brought versatility with his ability to extend the floor as a big who could knock down the three. He set solid, physical screens that freed up teammates and showed strength battling on the boards. Around the rim, he positioned well on cross cuts and used his size to finish plays. Defensively, his length made him tough to shoot over, especially when closing out with urgency.

Matured height for age with a solid mobility level. Sets ball screens for guards and stays active in the half court setting. At his size he showed ability to put the ball on the deck and get to the cup. Drove it a couple times to get to the stripe. Caught it on the block with good positioning showing quickness to make a spin move off defenders weak side. With combination of size and movement it makes for a tough cover in the paint area. Defensively creates a challenging presence near the basket.
