Watched Smith play in our expo last Fall and his game continues to develop. At this stage is projecting to fit into a combo guard role. Confident handling the rock in transition or in the ½ court. Constant slasher in the paint. Biggest strength is finishing effectively at the cup through traffic. Defensively brings energy and toughness on the ball or off to spark momentum and energy. Ignites transition game with an up tempo paced squad. Threw it up to his big on the break for a slam with exclamation. Team player that impacts winning.

Can play in the 1 or 2 man roles with confident ball handling ability. Sets pace of play for best opportunity. Shares the rock accordingly. Displayed patience with a dribble hand off that led to an assist from beyond the arc. Thread the needle on a fast break pass through traffic for another assist. Used body at times to draw contact and get to the stripe on drives. Had a nice put back off an o board. Overall showed good playmaking ability with a poised but active motor.
